Video - Centrifuge Training This is part of the Angkasawan selection process at TUDM Subang . We had to undergo 5G for 20 seconds as part of our selection process . We tend to lose consciousness because blood does not flow to the Brain during these times at 5GZ ... Hence we need to strain every 3 Seconds , squeeze the muscles so that the Blood will be pumped up to the brain . This scenario occurs during launch and landing . Also seen in jet fighter pilots maneuvering their aircrafts ... My Ballistic landing did reach 12G’s way back in 2007 - the reason why no footage was captured . Just sharing ...
